DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Monitors, handles, and installs all chemicals for swimming pools.
Performs minor repairs to swimming pools. Maintain standards of water quality by adding chemicals to the water.
To be alert for pool equipment problems such as clogged pipes and rusted equipment.
Basic responsibilities include but not limited to
- skimming and vacuuming of pool/spa/water features
- Brush hard surfaces within pool/spa/fountains
- Testing water chemistry and balancing chemical levels
- Cleaning Filters
Enforce all pool side rules
Oversee the maintenance of pumps and equipment.
Makes minor adjustments and keeps equipment in good repair.
Abide to rules and regulations with regards to chemicals used for pool treatment.
Ensure quality work is being performed in a safe and efficient manner within e stablished time frames
Interfaces with client when necessary with good etiquette
Effectively communicate with Pool Supervisor any matters regarding pools.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
In case of fire or any other emergency, the Pool Technician should be present with the team to assist the Emergency Team
Candidate Requirements :
High School or Certificate holder.
1 to 2 Years work experience on similar role or ability to perform scope of work on hospitality environment.
Must be efficient, organised, personable, poised and well groomed.
Must have experience in pool, spa and fountain maintenance including chemical use, chemical level testing, pump, equipment maintenance, pool plumbing and all other related items.
Be fully conversant with all health and safety and hygiene procedures.
